With Car: Valdidentro is about 210 km from Milan.

Winter: the height of Verona A4 Turin-Venice motorway towards Turin, Brescia exit west to Lake Iseo, ss 56 to Edolo; Aprica Pass, Tirano, Bormio, Valdidentro.
Throughout the year, however, you can reach Milan and then continue towards Lecco-Sondrio (see above), that path may be longer in terms of distance, but shorter in time.
Coming from Austria, during the winter season most favorable route passes through Landeck, Martina, Zernez (Switzerland), The Tunnel Drossa, Livigno; Foscagno, Valdidentro.
In the summer, coming from the same area you can opt for the route Landeck, Reschenpass, Mals, Passo dello Stelvio, Bormio, Valdidentro.
Warning: The Stelvio Pass is located at 2758 m altitude, at the foot of the glacier, often snow even in summer and the road can be difficult to travel without chains or snow tires.
With Train: By train the nearest station is to Tirano
(about 35 km from Valdidentro).
The connections with Milan, Stazione Centrale and Stazione Garibaldi, there are many every day and almost every train is coinciding with the bus for Perego Bormio and Valdidentro.
